These interdepartmental webinar cycles, essentially focused on the civil service and defined by the Research Chair team and the Ministry of Justice, are open to the Social Ministries and the Ministry of the Armed Forces, to students of the DU Disability Advisor, private sector, civil service, associative sector and to UPEC Disability Advisors.

2023-2024: Representations and prejudices : Disability and Employment

UPEC’s Disability, Employment and Occupational Health Research Chair, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the Social Ministries, announces the 3rd cycle of interdepartmental webinars.

This 3rd cycle is structured around four major themes:

  • Semantic, conceptual and legislative developments
  • Classifications and models (typology of disabilities)
  • An account of how prejudices can be overcome, and the levers for doing so
  • A reflection on representation and job retention (with particular regard to recruitment)

2022-2023: From fundamentals to reasonable accommodations

UPEC’s Disability, Employment and Occupational Health Research Chair, in collaboration with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the Social Ministries, is organizing the 2nd cycle of interdepartmental webinars.

This 2nd cycle focuses on 4 themes:

  • The fundamentals of disability (2005 law)
  • Psychic disability
  • Job retention (integration and support)
  • Reasonable accomodations

2021-2022: the enrollment of people with disabilities in the civil service

This 1st cycle of interdepartmental webinars, focused on the enrollment applicable to the Civil Service, it allowed to develop the following axes:

  • Concepts and fundamentals: the concept of discrimination, the principles of non-discrimination and positive discrimination, the notion of equal opportunity and the two modes of enrollment in the civil service.
  • CV analysis (methodology, points to watch out for).
  • The enrollment interview (methodology, points to watch out for).
  • The actors of enrollment.
  • The enrollment of people with a psychological disability.

2020-2021 : Job retention

This cycle of interdepartmental webinars, focusing on job retention, developed the following themes:

  • Key concepts.
  • Legislative frameworks.
  • Recruitment players.
  • The disability referent.
